In this paper, a class of morphisms which have a kind of singularity weaker than normal crossing is considered. We construct the obstruction such that the so-called semi-stable log structures exists if and only if the obstruction vanishes. In the case of no power, if the obstruction vanishes, then the semi-stable log structure is unique up to a unique isomorphism. So we obtain a kind of canonical structure on this family of morphisms.  相似文献

Let (N, γ) be a nilpotent Lie group endowed with an invariant geometric structure (cf. symplectic, complex, hypercomplex or any of their ‘almost’ versions). We define a left invariant Riemannian metric on N compatible with γ to be minimal, if it minimizes the norm of the invariant part of the Ricci tensor among all compatible metrics with the same scalar curvature. We prove that minimal metrics (if any) are unique up to isometry and scaling, they develop soliton solutions for the ‘invariant Ricci’ flow and are characterized as the critical points of a natural variational problem. The uniqueness allows us to distinguish two geometric structures with Riemannian data, giving rise to a great deal of invariants.Our approach proposes to vary Lie brackets rather than inner products; our tool is the moment map for the action of a reductive Lie group on the algebraic variety of all Lie algebras, which we show to coincide in this setting with the Ricci operator. A natural construction due to K. Ding yields Schubert varieties from Ferrers boards. The poset structure of the Schubert cells in these varieties is equal to the poset of maximal rook placements on the Ferrers board under the Bruhat order. We determine when two Ferrers boards have isomorphic rook posets. Equivalently, we give an exact categorization of when two Ding Schubert varieties have identical Schubert cell structures. This also produces a complete classification of isomorphism types of lower intervals of 312-avoiding permutations in the Bruhat order.  相似文献

Proper homogeneous G-spaces (where G is semisimple algebraic group) over positive characteristic fields k can be divided into two classes, the first one being the flag varieties G/P and the second one consisting of varieties of unseparated flags (proper homogeneous spaces not isomorphic to flag varieties as algebraic varieties). In this paper we compute the Chow ring of varieites of unseparated flags, show that the Hodge cohomology of usual flag varieties extends to the general setting of proper homogeneous spaces and give an example showing (by geometric means) that the D -affinity of Beilinson and Bernstein fails for varieties of unseparated flags.  相似文献

在灰色综合隶属度评价方法基础上,按照离差最大化原理,提出了一种品种区域试验的新的确定权重的方法.应用这种方法,对2002-2003年度国家黄淮南片小麦冬水组区域试验进行了分析.结果表明,这种分析方法克服了通常专家调查法和层次分析法主观随意性强的缺点,因而其分析结果更加客观、可靠.大面积生产实践也表明该方法具有一定可行性和有效性.  相似文献

We characterise the permutations π such that the elements in the closed lower Bruhat interval [id,π] of the symmetric group correspond to non-taking rook configurations on a skew Ferrers board. It turns out that these are exactly the permutations π such that [id,π] corresponds to a flag manifold defined by inclusions, studied by Gasharov and Reiner.Our characterisation connects the Poincaré polynomials (rank-generating function) of Bruhat intervals with q-rook polynomials, and we are able to compute the Poincaré polynomial of some particularly interesting intervals in the finite Weyl groups An and Bn. The expressions involve q-Stirling numbers of the second kind, and for the group An putting q=1 yields the poly-Bernoulli numbers defined by Kaneko.  相似文献

Assume that fR: X→Y is a small contraction such that every irreducible component Ei of the exceptional locus of fR is a smooth subvariety of dimension k.
